Dr. Mack's surgical education is extensive. He obtained his Medical Degree from Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana (LSU Tigers). He finished his Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency at the University of Southern California (USC Trojans), where he was Chief Resident of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in his final year. Dr. Mack also trained in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and Acute and Burn Reconstructive Surgery from the Saint Francis Memorial Hospital in San Francisco, California. He obtained his General Surgery residency training from Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, California where he became highly skilled in the field of endoscopic surgery. With these skills well-honed, Dr. Mack has remained on the cutting edge of Endoscopic Plastic Surgery and he regularly enjoys performing operations such as Endoscopic Breast Augmentation through the axilla (under arm) and the Endoscopic Brow Lift, which are performed easily by Dr. Mack through small well hidden incisions.

Dr. Mack has a special interest in Rhinoplasty (nose reshaping). He performs approximately 85% of these operations through the closed approach (no external scars). This avoids the telltale scar under the nose that lets everyone know you have had a rhinoplasty. Dr. Mack also accepts new patients for Secondary Rhinoplasty (he corrects misshapen noses following prior unsuccessful surgeries or trauma). He takes the time to listen to and address your cosmetic and functional concerns, creating an individualized treatment plan designed especially to meet your individual needs.

Dr. Mack is widely known for the natural appearance of his belly buttons and enhanced sexy waist-line in his Tummy Tuck patients. Prior to becoming Board Certified, Dr. Mack became fascinated with the form and function of the facial skeleton and nose during his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, after Graduating from UCLA School of Dentistry (UCLA Bruins). As a result of these eight additional years of training with emphasis on surgical precision, Dr. Mack is uniquely qualified. His profound understanding of the facial skeletal and soft tissue structure has resulted in a unique perspective from the synthesis his work on the aesthetic cosmetic patient, victims of facial trauma and reconstructive facial surgery. This distinctive combination of additional training and surgical experiences is to the direct benefit of his patients
