Julie Edween D.O., Facial Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery
Dr. Edween’s Filipino background is rooted in her hardworking immigrant parents who came to United States in pursuit of the “American dream”. That legacy has been carried on by Dr. Edween who has successfully built her practice located on the legendary Sunset boulevard in Los Angeles. Her practice is all inclusive, providing service from A-list celebrity clientele, to the hardworking mother or friend next door. It is no wonder why her practice was chosen to be showcased on national television on Discovery Channel’s “Plastic Surgery, Beverly Hills”, and The Learning Channel’s “Bodywork”.
Dr. Julie Edween is a board certified facial plastic and cosmetic surgeon. She received her medical degree and graduated as Magna Cum Laude from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, and was trained in Facial Plastic Surgery at Michigan State University Botsford Hospital. She then completed a cosmetic fellowship through the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery in Southern California. Dr. Edween has been an invited lecturer at numerous national facial plastic surgery meetings and workshops.
Her reputation for attention to detail and meticulous technique, along with a female perspective, has sparked a rising demand for her expertise. Her warm and approachable nature allows her patients to feel comfortable and most importantly, develop trust. Some of the procedures she performs include facelifts, browlifts, eyelid surgery, nose surgery, breast augmentation, liposuction, liposculpture, and tummy tucks.
In addition to her practice, Dr. Edween is a co-founder of Eunice Wavomba Foundation, which is dedicated to the medical health of impoverished women and children in Kenya, Africa.
