A 25 year-old patient after breast augmentation:
Dear Dr. Mackenzie:
I wanted to thank you for helping me look and feel better about myself. I took a good look in the mirror and I’m very happy. They look great!
See you soon,

A 20 year-old patient after breast reduction:
Dr. Mackenzie –
I think that I am just now fully realizing what has happened to me. I was in shock for a couple weeks. It’s hard for me to express my happiness (and I’m an English major) of the surgery results. Wow – it’s so incredible. I feel like a different person…
I’m so grateful for all you have done for me. I know that you were just doing your job, but it is obvious that you are passionate about it. I’m so glad that it worked out that you ended up doing the surgery – I couldn’t be happier.
Again thank you,
R.O.
A 48 year-old patient after breast augmentation/mastopexy, abdominoplasty, and lower body lift:
Dear Dr. Mackenzie,
I feel very grateful for my new life. I feel so much different about my body in that until now, I had never been comfortable in a dress before. Shopping for clothes was painful and I didn’t want to do it. Every day I get up and it’s a new way of being for me because the negativity about my body is gone. I feel so different about myself and have started to really take care of myself on a physical level. I like the freedom of not being restricted because I have to hide this or that. These changes are just an amazing experience to live through. I love it. I had no idea plastic surgery could do this for people. It must be very good for you to be able to give this gift to people and I appreciate so much your creativity and skill to make this happen for me…
Sincerely,
S.M.
A 50 year-old patient after breast reconstruction for cancer:
Dr. Mackenzie,
It is so-o-o good to be into my 2nd cancer-free year. I’m still doing well! ____ did the tattoo on my left nipple. Interestingly, I was her first experience with a TRAM flap reconstruction and she remarked what beautiful work you had done! Of course, I agree!
…I’m so happy to be cancer-free and I’m so grateful to you for all you did to reconstruct my breast so beautifully.
Aloha,
P.C.
