Trust Your Face to a Specialist
Dr. Raj TerKonda specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and neck. In Colorado, only a handful of surgeons have completed a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery and are dual board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is the only surgeon with these qualifications in Boulder County. He prides himself on honesty and integrity, and does not perform procedures outside of his area of expertise.
Dr. Terkonda's philosphy on facial plastic surgery is to give the patient natural-appearing results--a rested , rejuvenated appearance, not an operated appearance. He strives for natural results for all procedures, whether it is a facelift or Botox treatments. He has a special interest in rhinoplasty, and performs difficult revision cases that other surgeons refuse. Unlike most surgeons, he pays attention to both the cosmetic and breathing aspects of nose reshaping. Computerized imaging is often used to show possible results, but also so the patient can tell Dr. TerKonda what he or she desires. He spends time to explain details to the patient, and will often spend an entire hour for consults.
Patient safety is of prime importance. Dr. TerKonda performs all surgical procedures in a certified, state of the art ambulatory surgery center with excellent nurses and overnight stay options. Longer stays can be arranged. Dr. TerKonda does not deliver your anesthesia, nor does he use nurses or anesthetists for this very important task. Only board certified anesthesiologists (M.D's) will deliver your anesthesia so Dr. TerKonda can concentrate on your surgery to give you the best results possible.
Noninvasive procedures and physician-directed skin care are performed at the Longmont Clinic. Dr. TerKonda, not a nurse, performs many of these procedures himself. These include Botox treatments, fillers (Restylane, Juvederm, Radiesse, Collagen), and laser treatments for spider veins, sunspots, birthmarks, and tattoos. A certified esthetician is on site for skin care education and treatments, such as microdermabrasion, glycolic and salicylic peels, and Obagi blue peels. She also performs European facials, waxing, and eyebrow/lash tinting. The following skin care lines are available: Obagi, Kinerage, Colorsaienes, and Jane Iredale.
The facilities in Longmont are among the finest in Colorado. With a Colorado color palette, The Longmont Clinic West Building opened February, 2001, and has breath taking views of Long's Peak and Front Range. Longmont United Hospital is also brand new, and was named one of the top fifteen "hospitals with a heart" by Modern Maturity magazine. It looks more like a luxury hotel than a hospital. All rooms are private with simulated wood floors and crown molding. It is not unusual to find musicians in the hospital and you can even bring your pet for visits. Longmont is only 30 minutes away from Denver, and 15 minutes from Boulder. Safe, confidential care is waiting for you in beautiful environment. |
