Dr. O'Brien entered private practice in St. Petersburg, Florida in 1994. He has given community talks on many aspects of plastic surgery. He has also given lectures to many of the hospital medical staffs on new developments and techniques in plastic and reconstructive surgery. He has written articles and a book chapter for medical publications. He continues to update his training by attending national and local plastic surgery conferences and meetings.
