Dr. Turowski is a graduate of the Medical University of Lodz in Poland with additional medical training in West Germany. He finished his residency in general surgery at St. Mary's Hospital - Yale University in Connecticut. He completed residence in plastic and reconstruive surgery at Harvard Medical School. He is certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery.
He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery and the American College
of Surgeons. Dr. Turowski is a teaching affiliate with the University of Chicago.
He has full operating and admitting privileges at several area hospitals: Highland
Park, Evanston, St. Joseph, Illinois Masonic and Mercy.
Dr. Turowski has been interviewed on various radio and TV stations and is listed in ''Top doctors - Chicago Metropolitan area.'' He has written numerous articles and received multiple awards for his research. In addition to his clinical training he finished a research fellowship at the Yale and holds a Ph.D. in surgery.
Specializing in cosmetic surgery of the face and body, Dr. Turowski has also a special interest in reconstructive breast surgery, including microvascular free tissue transfer.
