| Dear Dr. Benjamin,
I am taking the time to write this letter, to you, to let you know how much my tile has improved since I had my abdominoplasty.
As I had told you before, I had always been very active and I started having sharp pains in abdominal muscles after my second child and I started having severe lower back pains after my fifth child in seven years. Before, my daily tile consisted of many doses of Ibuprofen and many hours a day were spent on a heating pad. This was my ritual to alleviate my lower back pain. There were no remedies; however, to alleviate the sharp pains I would receive in my tower abdominal muscles, I would simply be paralyzed momentarily until the pain subsided.
Since I had my abdominoplasty I have not experienced a single muscle pain in my lower abdominal region. Also, my heating pad as well as my Ibuprofen has found a permanent place in my linen closet.
In closing, I want to compliment you on your impeccable surgical skills as well as your natural ability to make someone feel at ease with the procedures you perform.
My children, my husband and I would like to thank you for giving me back a pain free lifestyle.
Sincerely,
P.S. I also want to tell you what a wonderful staff you have at your office. They are always very kind, polite and extremely helpful and they are very worthy of a raise.
Dear Dr. Benjamin,
It is with sincere gratitude and appreciation of your talent, skill, experience, and education that I write this THANK YOU note. I can now look at my breasts as cute little perky entities - and you even retained their sensitivity - for which I, and an assorted host of others, are deeply grateful. My self-image has changed dramatically (even though I’m of the dramatic nature anyway - as you well know).
As you forewarned me, my shape has also changed to the point that I needed an earnest commitment of diet and exercise to reshape the rest of me. I have committed this year to Weight Watchers and will have a new and hopefully better body by year’s end - - just in time for your New Year’s party. (Remember, you said you was having one this year and was going to invite me, and them).
Thanks to you, I can now exercise without them flying all around and embarrassing me. Thanks to you, they no longer get squished or burnt or scratched or knocked around because they’re in the way. Thanks to you, I don’t have back aches or cut shoulders or get those horrible rashes under my breasts during the summer’s heat. Thanks to you, for the first time in my adult life, I recently purchased a beautiful matching bra and panty set, that fit, top and bottom. Thanks to you, I can finally get undressed without feeling like a freak because they were so big and ugly (I have to get the stomach done next - - but we’ll talk about that later!).
There is still the final issue of the flap and the after pictures. I will take care of this matter a little further down the road. I’d rather wait and be right than to jump the gun now. I’ve waited this long for a chance at a better life; I can wait a little longer for the “right’ time to complete this venture. Hopefully, we’ll be able to work things out so that I can afford the final “finishing” touches. Remember the BJ (smile)!
None of these things could have been possible without your efforts - - not only in securing authorization and payment for the surgery from my insurance company - - but also, and equally as important, in giving me ample time to recuperate and relieve the years of the built-up stress I was under. There are so many things that I’m happy about now, that it must be GOD’s blessing! Thanks for being part of it.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! |
