Patient Comments

Dear Dr. Livingston, "I wanted to let to send you a quick note to let you know how thrilled I am with the results of my breast lift and augmentation. You truly exceeded my expectations!

As you know, I was rather apprehensive about the scars associated with the lift. I am very happy that the incision only involved the areola and it is healing nicely. The shape and volume are beautiful! I could not ask for better proportion or natural appearance. I feel so fortunate to have such a talented surgeon. I will definitely recommend you to others. Thank you for helping me achieve confidence again!

Have a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year!"

Sincerely,

-K.M.

"Dr Livingston & Courtney,

I haven't said it enough.....thank you for all you have done and do for me! It means a lot having such great care each and every time I come in or call! I am working a new shirt to wear at all my walks this year! And I will come in as soon as I get it, to show you!

Anyway, thank you both so much for all everything!"

-N.K.

Good Morning Dr. Livingston,

Unfortunately, my computer died yesterday or you would have been thanked earlier!! Anyhow, thank you for seeing my dad and sister yesterday. I'm glad to hear that he won't need surgery on his cheek bone and nose! My sister said you are pretty sure he will not need any surgery for his orbital floor, but will look at it again next week. I'm also glad he won't be going back to work yet and when he does...it will be desk work for 6 wks! I know it's "your job", blah...blah...blah...BUT I do want to tell you "Thank you" and tell you I appreciate that you took the time to look at his CT Scan last week and call me to make sure he was keeping his head elevated and that he was taking antibiotics. ESPECIALLY since he was not on antibiotics and was not elevating his head!! Thanks for calling his antibiotics in too! Well, enough of me taking your time. Have a great day and rest of the week!

"To any patient considering plastic surgery:

I would like to start off by saying, choose your doctor wisely, I did and I am thrilled with my results. Choosing Dr. Livingston was the best choice I've made in a long time.

Recently, I decided to have breast augmentation and liposuction under my chin. I take good care of myself but there was nothing I could do about the genetics of chin fat and sagging boobs. Gravity was finally winning! It has been 3 months since my surgery and I am absolutely thrilled with my results; Dr. Livingston did an amazing job. I would recommend him to anyone. The following is what led me to choose Dr. Livingston as my doctor and why I highly recommend him to you.

1. Aesthetic Results:
I was not a difficult case; however, like most women, I was slightly asymmetrical. Dr. Livingston was my third doctor consultation but the first Doctor NOT to say, "That's just how you are shaped; there is nothing I can do about that." Dr. Livingston did a minor incision about one areola to create symmetry (my areola's were only 1/2 a centimeter off but would have been more noticeable with implants). He also corrected my cleavage on one side (one breast was more round and the other was more slanted). Every doctor said there was nothing they could do about that, it was just the way I was shaped. Dr. Livingston did not see me as just another boob job. He corrected my cleavage and made my breasts symmetrical. Dr. Livingston wanted to make sure I had the best possible results, so he took the time to do the minor corrections which gave me the look and symmetry I was trying to achieve.

2. Nerve Sensation:
Dr. Livingston did NOT cut through the nerve leading to the areola so I would not loose sensitivity. Most doctors say it's a 50/50 chance that you will loose sensitivity. That was not good enough for me. Dr. Livingston took the time to move the nerve out of the way and then he cut under the muscle and inserted the implant. Once that nerve is cut, it may or it may not grow back together. I was not willing to take that chance. Sensitivity in my breasts was very important to me. I was amazed to learn most doctors do not take the time to move the nerve over, they just cut through it. I never lost sensation in my areolas, if anything; they were hypersensitive for the first few months.

3. Placement and Size:
Dr. Livingston did not cut above my natural breast line so my breasts look completely natural and never looked like they were "in my throat". He also knew I wanted to be full but not huge since I like to play sports and my family is very conservative. I gave him pictures of what I wanted my results to look like. I found before and after pictures close to my original size and shape and what I wanted to look like post-op. He ordered various sized silicone implants for my surgery. He then used a spacer implant to determine the best size. The spacer implant was inserted during surgery to determine the perfect size prior to inserting the silicone implant. The spacer implant was filled with saline, then they sat me upright to judge the size. This was done at various CCs (275, 300, 325, 350, 375, 400) until I had the perfect size based on the pictures I gave him. I thought I would want a 325-350 implant, he ended up using a 375 implant and I am absolutely thrilled with my results.

4. Caring:
Dr. Livingston really cared about making sure I knew everything up front about my surgery. He made sure I didn't have any questions, he was very conscientious about my pain management, my results, my post surgery psychological effects and me as a patient. He was absolutely the best doctor and I am thrilled I chose him. I never felt like I was just another patient on a conveyer belt, Dr. Livingston really cares about your results and you as a patient.
Thanks to Dr. Livingston I look and feel 15 years younger! I would recommend him to anyone! I hope that this will help you make the very difficult decision of finding the right surgeon a little easier for you."
