Non Invasive Body Slimming

Non invasive body slimming Men and women who are interested in reshaping and contouring their bodies often turn to cosmetic surgery for help. However, many individuals prefer to steer clear of cosmetic surgery for reasons such as the length of time in surgery, the length of time in recovery, and the possible risks and side effects. Some of the most popular elective procedures that are designed to improve the quality and appearance of problem areas that store excess fat are liposuction (“lipoplasty”), tummy tuck surgery (“abdominoplasty”), and arm lift surgery (“brachioplasty”).

Alternatively, non-invasive body slimming treatments, such as ZERONA™, offer individuals the opportunity to re-contour their bodies without surgery. Thermage®, LipoMassage™ by Endermologie®, and Lipodissolve are additional non-invasive body slimming treatments that can provide men and women with their desired results.

What are my options with body slimming?

ZERONA™: Nearly every area of the body can benefit from the ZERONA™ non-heated laser procedure, including the tummy, back, hips, thighs, buttocks, love handles, chin and neck, arms, and bra-line. Using the Erchonia® Low Level Laser technology, this non-invasive body slimming treatment offers zero surgery, zero pain, and zero downtime. Two-week clinical trials have reported that the average patient lost 3.5 inches from his or her waist, hips, thighs, bra-line, and upper arms with the help of ZERONA™.

Thermage®: In just one single treatment, Thermage will help to tighten and contour the skin with the use of radiofrequency energy. There is no surgery needed, no injections, and little to no downtime. Thermage is intended to “turn back the clock on your skin.” It can treat: wrinkled, crepey or sagging skin on the tummy, knees, arms, legs, hands and/or buttocks; sagging skin or unwanted bulges after pregnancy or weight loss; love handles; and the appearance of cellulite. Many women who have skin laxity in the abdominal region after pregnancy have benefitted from Thermage, which helps to reduce the appearance of stretch marks as well.

LipoMassage™ by Endermologie®: LipoMassage uses unique Tissuer Rolling and Tissuer Lifting mechanization. Its “Roll’in, Roll’out, and Roll’up” technique is designed to streamline, sculpt, and condition the body. This non-invasive body slimming treatment is designed for both men and women. It can improve such areas as: localized fat, cellulite, saddlebags, flabby arms, belly rolls, double chin, love handles, potbelly stomach, and fleshy pectorals. Patients are required to wear a hygienic body stocking during the procedure.

Lipodissolve™: Also known as "Mesotherapy:,” “Lipostabil®,” “lipotherapy,” or “injection lipolysis,” LipoDissolve is a minimally invasive, body slimming medical procedure that is designed to break down fat cells in specific areas of the body. This non-surgical treatment entails a series of injections, consisting of lecithin – a soy bean extract (a commonly used emulsifying agent in chocolate bars). Some of the body areas that may benefit from Lipodissolve include the: tummy, love handles, chin, and saddle bags.

Am I a good candidate for body slimming?

All individuals considering a cosmetic treatment, such as ZERONA™, Thermage, LipoMassage by Endermologie, or Lipodissolve, must first evaluate their goals and expectations. These non-invasive body slimming procedures have the strength to provide beneficial, noticeable results; therefore, in order to determine the type of treatment best suited for your body and condition, it is important to consult a qualified specialist to share your concerns and ask any necessary questions.

How long does treatment take?

ZERONA™: Each session is 40 minutes – 20 minutes on front and 20 minutes on back. ZERONA™ is performed in six, quick treatments that are administered over a two-week period.

Thermage®: The single treatment session takes between 60 to 90 minutes.

LipoMassage™ by Endermologie®: LipoMassage typically takes between 10 and 35 minutes per session. Qualified practitioners will use a four-step process to determine the best body-specific treatment plan for an individual, and how many sessions should be required for optimal results.

Lipodissolve™: This treatment may take between 15 and 45 minutes per session, depending on the number of areas being treated. In order for a patient to reach his or her desired appearance, it may take up to six sessions.

What are the side effects and risks of body slimming?

Some of the possible risks and side effects associated with Thermage are burns, skin discoloration, and pain and discomfort. Lipodissolve is known to have more possible risks and side effects; however, a vast majority of cases are considered minimal and temporary. Within the first few hours of undergoing Lipodissolve treatment, cases of dizziness, fever, sweating, or fainting may occur. At the injection site, some of the side effects may include mild swelling, bruising, burning, itching, and general discomfort in the area that was treated. There are no known side effects and risks associated with ZERONA™ and LipoMassage by Endermologie.

Patients who follow post-op recovery instructions from their qualified practitioners are less likely to experience complications.

How do I properly prepare for body slimming treatment?

The consultation is one of the most important steps involved with treatment. During this time, prospective patients can ask a medical professional about how to properly prepare for non-invasive body slimming treatments, such as ZERONA™, Thermage, LipoMassgae by Endermologie, and Lipodissolve.

When will the final results appear?

ZERONA™: Results are typically noticeable after four to six sessions. Some patients may even notice results after only a few treatment sessions.

Thermage: It can take weeks or months before patients are able to notice Thermage results.

LipoMassage by Endermologie: Treated areas will be noticeably different from the very first session.

Lipodissolve: Results in smaller areas may become more noticeable in a few weeks, while the results are gradual and can take a few months to become obvious.

Is body slimming permanent?

No. The patient must be willing to commit to a healthy lifestyle of diet and exercise if he or she would like to experience long-term results. Some non-invasive body slimming treatments may also require additional, routine sessions in order to maintain a pleasing outcome.

How long is the recovery period?

There is minimal to no downtime with these body slimming treatments. The majority of patients can return right way to their normal activities.
